In addition to our dog boarding kennel, MacBark & Scratch runs a small boutique cattery which is licensed for eight cats.  Your cat can either be housed alone, or with other cats - that's your choice.  The maximum number of cats per room is 4. 

Your cat's room has scratching poles and cat furniture to play on. Comfortable beds are provided but you are welcome to bring your cat’s own bed if you like.  The cattery is cleaned every day and water bowls filled.  Litter boxes are renewed twice daily for your pet’s comfort. 

Other benefits for your cat staying at MacBark & Scratch:

• Music is played 24 hours.
• Your cat is secure in our facility, which has two sets of doors into the cattery to prevent 'the great escape'!
• We will feed your cat Iams Multi-Cat dry or a selection of premium canned food if desired.
• In the interests of your pet’s wellbeing, we reserve the right to call a vet at the owner’s expense if required. 

Checklist for Cats:

• Vaccinations: Your cat must have received a Nobivac Forcat or similar vaccination within the last 12 months but not more recently than seven days prior to your cat's stay with us.
• Please ensure your pet has been treated for worms and fleas within the seven days prior to coming into our facility.
• Please bring your cat's vaccination card at time of booking in.
• All cats should arrive in a suitable cat container.
